Page 38: Assembly Continues

10/26/24:I thought I'd share an update on assembly progress. It may not be exciting to see a few more parts bolted on, but I get very excited about it.

The major progress has been completing the suspension for all four corners: Springs, shocks, bushings, control arms, sway bars, brakes, calipers, and so on. The car could be sitting on all fours, but it's convenient to leave it up for other work.

New halfshafts were made. These were needed because the SV suspension is 1.5" further out than the P400 and S suspension. They will be painted the correct shade of blue.

All the sheet metal panels (except for the firewall) have been installed.

The radiator was recored and mounted, along with the S-type air deflector.

The hydraulics (clutch and brake master cylinders) were thought to be done, but bleeding found problems and they are off being lined to fix pitting and corrosion. They should be back in a week or two.
